JagAI Cloud Threat Analysis - How It Works
JagAI Cloud Threat Analysis
JagAI is the proprietary cloud-based threat intelligence engine built into True Protection by Jag. It provides an additional layer of analysis beyond traditional signature-based detection, using advanced machine learning to identify new and evolving threats.
How JagAI Works
When True Protection encounters a suspicious file that does not match any known signature, it can submit a secure hash or anonymized sample to the JagAI cloud for deeper analysis. The JagAI engine evaluates the file using:
- Behavioral Pattern Recognition: Analyzes how the file would behave if executed, identifying malicious patterns without running the code on your system.
- Threat Correlation: Compares file characteristics against millions of known threat samples to identify similarities with known malware families.
- Zero-Day Detection: Identifies previously unknown threats based on suspicious code structures, packing methods, and evasion techniques.
- Reputation Scoring: Assigns a trust score based on file prevalence, age, publisher reputation, and behavioral analysis.
Privacy and Data Protection
JagAI is designed with privacy as a priority:
- Only file hashes and anonymized metadata are sent to the cloud by default.
- Full file uploads occur only with your explicit consent for unknown, suspicious files.
- All data transmission is encrypted with TLS 1.3.
- Submitted samples are analyzed and then permanently deleted from our servers.
- No personal information is collected or transmitted during analysis.
Configuring JagAI
Manage JagAI settings in Settings > JagAI Cloud. You can enable or disable cloud analysis, choose whether to allow full file submissions, and view a log of all files analyzed by JagAI.
