Offline Update Installation

True Protection by Jag supports offline updates for devices that do not have regular internet access or are in air-gapped environments. Offline update packages can be downloaded on a connected device and transferred via USB drive or network share.

Downloading Offline Update Packages

Step 1: On a device with internet access, navigate to tpjsecurity.com/downloads/offline-updates.
Step 2: Download the Full Signature Package (contains all current signatures, approximately 200 to 300 MB).
Step 3: Optionally download the Engine Update Package if a new engine version is available.
Step 4: Copy the downloaded packages to a USB drive or shared network location.

Applying Offline Updates

Step 1: On the target device, open True Protection.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Updates > Import Offline Update.
Step 3: Browse to the update package file.
Step 4: Click Install. True Protection will verify the package signature and apply the update.

Command-Line Installation

For headless or automated environments, apply offline updates via the command line: tpj-cli update --offline /path/to/update-package.tpjupd. The CLI will verify the digital signature, apply the update, and report success or failure. This can be automated with scripts for regular offline update distribution across multiple air-gapped devices.
